    Hi:-

    Just wondering if anybody could give me details on this painting by Rosemary Bradshaw:

    I have contacted the artist via email but I'm not sure if the email address is used and current.

    The information I am looking for:

    1) Is the painting based on an actual location? If so, where?
    2) As can be seen in the bottom picture, the paint around the signature is cracking somewhat - is this normal? Can it be prevented? Does it devalue the painting?
    3) When was it painted?
    4) Is the frame original? Would replacing it devalue the painting?
    5) Could you estimate what it might be worth? It was bought a number of years ago by a family friend for IR£6,500. Not sure how long ago, though.

    If you can answer some or all of these questions, I would be most grateful.
