    According to an article in the Irish Times to-day Bord Gais are extending by 600km their fibre optic network. It seems they may be putting more effort into their Teleco sub Aurora. An interesting quote from the article is "The state of the art fibre optic network will increase the provision of boradband to the regions and should offer firms opportunities to locate outside Dublin ".

    I wonder if this means they are only going to target the business sector ?

    It not only means Just the business sector
    It really only means Large Multi(american)-nationals such as MS, Intel and the like. Access to these Fibre chunks are only sold to the trans-nats :(. Not even a wiff for the telcos
