    I'd say it's a very, very rough guess it would be pretty impossible to get any figure that would be reasonably accurate, then that depends on your interpretation of reasonable. Nice link mike:)

    I dont think one can see 5000 stars though (as the article states) when ya look up,i dunno though..... (Thats an aweful lot)

    I think space IS QUITE INTERESTING....... How far does it go?

    WHAT IS SPACE OR MORE IMPORTANTLY: WHERE IS SPACE??

    You cannot comprehend it and you might tear yourself up thinking about it!

    Well it says you can see 5000 from "the darkest parts of Earth", so I don't think it means from your backgarden in the countryside!
