Irish Quake2 Clan scene dead

So for this league we have
DzR
HIV
ScreaM
DF
EM will not b involved (inactive)
and a few B teams. Yawn. Its going to be a pretty poor competition compared to the last time. Will any of the Q1 clans enter this time?

UL are gonna enter a team i think. theres a few mates of mine mad into Q2, they are bullin for games, not much good but they r enthusiastic so post yer mail addy here and i'll get em back to u

Yeah its a bit **** these days.
I heard about a new clan ABC and Kash are they game otherwise its not gonne be very good.

I know this may not be popular with either you guys (or anyone else) but have you considered maybe seeing if any UK clans would be interested in playing in the league.
Are there any Northern Irish Clans?

most uk players are getting v poor conns to quake.ie atm. if we were gonna have a few over we'd need to have some quality control on them. EED have played on quake.ie and get decent pings, not sure about any others thou. It would be better if it was an Irish League, we could have an invitation cup or something running alongside it. I think the swedes are getting good conns to quake.ie again, so perhaps TUK and a few others might be interested

Well Kash ain't game, most of our members will be playing for there other respective clans, whats this about ABC, I have seen a few of them playin alrite, em and AED maybe they would play (hopefully not if you want a full game on the day)... infact we could just bundle all 3 muppet clans into one ?

I'm not sure about Glassman or our other UK players but if their's is suitably good, we could invite one or two clans to join in. Surely there must be a Clan London Irish.

cave, we've about 10 active players, 4 of these uk based. it really depends if indigo DO get the uunet router problem sorted. even then 2 squads of 5 players is cutting it fine for us, if we can't mix and match a few players between the squads we'll end up only have 3 players some nite for the A team.

i mailed shank with a 2 division suggestion, putting the B teams in there. perhaps having a rule that a player who plays for the A team can't play for the B team in the same week or summit.

Actually, the truth is I had a friend's comp and such is my skill that I was playing on both PC's at the same time. Therefore, on aggregate, I kicked your ass.

Well if there is going to be a div2 B team kind of thing then ScreaM will probably be able to throw together a B squad with our q1'ers and whoever else we can get there on the day.

Well ABC aren't going to solve the lack of talent or interest you speak of but we'll join in the league for the craic, we can only get better!! Whats the procedure, when, what maps....etc etc..??

itd be cool enough to get a new clan with like the GIs who played last season like who still want to play like euclid and pooh and combine em with some other ppl, or get a clan of entirely new q2 q1 guys for the fun

Clan ABC, Durham Red mailed me today asking to be entered into the league, great news! Only prob (but i don't think it is really) is that their all LPB's, but their all fairly new to the Q2 scene, I say let them play, lets make an acception, what u lads think? Go on, agree!!!!
