What is the purpose for this conversion?
Is it to keep a record?

If you cope the contents of a particular e-mail into MS Word, it will preserve all of the additional information, e.g. fonts, styles, justification, underlines etc..

You can then save the file out as RTF (Rich Text Format)...

Probably not what you are looking for though..

a clients pc had window95 and office 97 on it, but he got an upgraded PC to windows2000 and office XP. Now what he wants to do is to print out his emails + the attachment names, IE, document.doc. In office 97, there was an icon at the bottom of the email to show what was attached, but in outlook Xp, the attachments are displayed below the Subject line, but the printer will not print out the Attachment's line. I found the only way to get the printer to print out the attachments name's is when I convert the email to Rich Text.... the only way i could do this was to Forward one of his emails using Rich text format, then going into the sent items and printing from there... Grrr

basically I want all incoming emails to be converted to Rich Text so he can print the attachments
