Team ie practice games

That should read Friday night too. Don't turn up if you're going to say stuff like "Pickup" or "Even the teams up a bit ffs".

I presume ure talkin about last night when I said to even up the teams, Von. I don't see the point in team.ie 'practise' when its gonna be a turkey shoot. Ye are going up against Frances national team which is going to be one fuccking tough game, it's a bit silly putting yourselves up against a team ure going to walkover as practise. There's no benefit in that, if anything it will soften you up. If you're having a practise, organise it so that you're playing a team that will give you hassle, don't have a pickup game all of a sudden and pull all the team.ie to one team coz thats stupid.

ronan, we learnt ALOT from last night, we let you get too many weapons, we were never sure exactly where the rogue rocket launchers were, our problem is that we cant hold down a level, even against a pickup team. tonight, me bunny tomb and von will take on whoever is good enough to turn up. and i saw on dm2 people just stop playing, if your gonna do that, please dont start playing in the first place.

Hmmm. Im interested. Someone mail me with dates and times I can turn up for a decent old fragshag. Plus server addresses and any other patches or files ill need which I'd have missed in the last year or so. Although it is the Heineken weekender here, my Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings are usually free....a comeback by Scary [SPICE] may just have attracted my interest!

BTW Tribes is shared there too, but you may not be able to run it on that old PC of yours, not sure, it's a little funny on my 233. Try it on Martin's maybe...

I don't think the games last night were turkey shoots at all. They were quite tough. Zero Overlord Koopa Scarab is a strong bunch of players. Not the same kind of turkey shoots I went thru when I played for CP against QPD a lot. They got control immediately and kept us under 30 frags in most games even though we had good players. nicky, thats what im talkin about. I wasnt playin for that DM2 game where they stopped playin but thats what i meant. Chaos stopped and went off for 10 mins during the fuccking game n shiit, no point in praccying against that. The DM3 game wasnt too bad, because I asked Chaos to leave and OL came in, which made a big difference. If you want praccy, you wanna play against a class team or ure wasting ure time.

Chaos played a load of games with us and spent most of them being spawn fragged without moaning but got frustrated on dm2. There was no one to replace him til OL came in. We understand that people are a bit reluctant to spend game after game running about with a shotgun and no armour but someones gotta do it. I'm pretty sure a team of Zero Overlord Koopa and Mickah would cause us bother if they got a bit organized.

I still don't see how splitting us up will help our teamplay and comms. Might as well be playing ffa then.

I'd have to agree with Von here - in the last few weeks before a match like this, DM skills are not what need work - it's teamplay, tactics, communication, and getting used to playing on a LAN. Most of these skills can be exercised regardless of the team they are facing, but none will be improved if our squad is split in order to balance things.

dm2 sucked i kept locking up and when i got a gun which wasnt very often i locked up:/
So i fu(ked off too irc cause i couldnt b ****d playing like that. agree with von too. Don't forget to get slaan in on it too - he's gifted in wars. Him, mick, lorcan and ol wouldn't be too easy at all on a lan. Any luck getting a lan going for a weekend?

Yeah cheers for playing us, but we need more practice....and you guys are getting much stronger playing us, than arsing around on clan arena. And dont be complaining about ping, i came ahead of sujoy, etc on bw ffa with a 300 ping.You'll justget better
