Could anyone recommend any good metal bands, as I don't have Scuzz, Kerrang or MTV2 (in other words, I don't have Digital :( ).

I want to know this cos I'm getting broadband soon and want to get a nice MP3 collection.

    hhrrrhrhrhrhrhhrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

good metal bands eh????? mushroomhead always seem to liven up a playlist. try "before i die" has to be the best mushroomhead song. spineshank should be a part of any metal playlist. anything by them really but me fave has to be "height of callousness" that song will tear the bollocks off ye. refused and sick of it all are also pretty good. theyre not metal but theyre hard core punk whcih is pretty heavy. of course cant go wrong with tool, metallica and limp bizkit. whoops i mean rage against the machine. any feckin sog by them is just class.

kerrang and scuzz are pretty crap these days. they still play all the old nu - metal stuff and pop punk. having said that mtv2 aint that much better but they have good live shows and theyre playlists are a hell of a lot more diverse!

anyone else dissulusioned (i probably spelt that wrong) by the crap they play on tv these days?

I'm going to interpret "good bands" as "what Garóg has in his bag right now".

    Entombed
Carcass (I have all their albums, and the DVD. Now do the same.)
    Impaled
    Deicide
    Emperor
    The Frames
    oh, and Soil.
