    righto,

I have an external firewire harddrive with 4 partitions on it. It will not mount to the desktop on the G4 mac (or any mac). I noticed its a IDE hd, so I took it out of its case and put it as slave onto G4, but will not mount still. I've run Norton utilities and its found 4 partitions on the missing disk, but when I try do a volume recovery, its saying that filesaver info is a year old?

    any taughts?

the g4 i've put the hd into is 9.2

What version of Norton Utilities are you using?
