how many graphics cards does it take.....

ive been seriously thinkin about upgrading from my lovely 166mmx to something a wee bit bigger. maybe a p11 400 or something simliar. however, whilst looking at the dell site, i see that there new range comes with a dvd card and an 8mg ati card.
what i want to know is that if already have a couple of cards...... can i still use them or juxt chuck em away? i mean im sure i can still stick me voodoo card in, but how exactly would that go around the dvd card? or would they all plug intogether like a happy family? and does anyone know where you can get a high spec, low cost puter on credit?

talkin about Doom and graphics cards and whatnot? is there a GL patch or whatever of any of the Doom games (ie I, II, Untimate Doom, Final Doom, Low Fat Doom, Doom Lite, I cant believe its not Doom ect)

A dvd card has nothing to do with gfx,it is a card that allows u to connect a dvd drive to ur pc if u don't have a spare eide slot(the place where u connect ur cdrom and hds).If u have 2 hds connected or a sh*t mother board then u might need a dvd card but check before u buy(and let me know first as i get them real cheap).
