I've already been on the phone, and had the install guy come back twice (due to installation probs) and now it looks like he'll be returning after he finishes his lunch... Did anyone else have this prob, and how was it solved?

is your router giving any line errors? packet loss?

its wireless, no router (afaik) i have a little box with a Power Over Ethernet written on it, that could be a router.
Anyway, problem solved. After a call to Irish Broadband, they investigaed my connection and found it was set to a lower speed, the speed the use to test the radio's. Its all hunky dorey now, with sustained rates of 55kb/sec and upwards.
    Heres pings to boards.ie
