Not sure if it is meant to be or is it just an in joke for the eagle eyed,or even pure coincidence, but did anybody else notice on Eastenders tonight that when the mother of the new Indian family was driving away she drove past a sign(think it was a sign above a shop)in which the first 3 letters of the 3 worded shop title were highlighted in red and spelt out BBC?The sign said Barrats something something-the second word beginning with a highlighted B and the last word beginning with a highlighted C.It didnt focus long on it but it was visible for maybe 5 seconds.
    Advertising or are they"avain a larf"? :D

Noticed any other odd stuff in the background on tv?

Eastenders are clever with regards to music being played in the background during certain scenes.... Something to keep an eye (or an ear!) out for......

Thats about all you'd tune in for.

You might be lucky and someone else would die.

I noticed that. The BBC letters stood out quite obvious. Something like "Barrats Bargain Centre"

    Strange.

Something similar happened me too: I laughed when someone said that tennis is interesting.
I also laughed when someone tried to say golf was a sport.

To me at the time that was a hidden symbolic thing for her leaving and it being the end of an era as such for Corny St.

Have not seen said scene (don't watch any soaps at all), but there is a lock manufacturing company called Era. They make cheap shitty locks, perhaps the props dept. were just on a tight budget.

Why don't you write your text UNDER the post your quoting, instead of above. People don't know what you're talking about until they scroll down.

Or rather, you're just lacking in netiquette. Write below the quote and stop being a drama queen. Jaysus...

Anyway - more pointless info that isn't exactly pertinent, but somewhat related to the topic at hand:

Well, you all know how the woman who plays Pauline Fowler (her name escapes me... Wendy something?) also featured heavily in the ancient comedy 'Are You Being Served' many moons ago?

Well, it is rumoured that on set her and Dot decided to try and alter their script a bit - so that instead of Dot asking her "Can you help?" - they actually decided to go with the infamous "Are you free?" "I'm free!" a la John Inman and Are You Being Served. Killjoy BBC bosses didn't see the humour - or the point - and axed it.

Well, that was a waste of a post :P. Had to get it off my chest somewhere.
