Elbow cracking

    Started using weights there six months ago and i went and bought a bar myself and the buddy were then lifting weights of 80 pounds when my elbow started to craic every time i brought the bar to the ground it gets very sore now on cold days and you can feel the bone cracking when you move the elbow ie by putting your hand on it anyone experience anything similiar and know how to get rid of it

    Yep my left elbom is well very cracky,as for the pain you may very well have gotten tennis elbow i know i had the exact same symptomes all it took was one steroid injection the cracking is still here but pain is gone and have full use.

    I have and have had tendonitis in both elbows, this was due to removing carpet ages ago but I digress.

    First thing, get some neoprene elbow wraps. Consider icing after every session. Use glucosamine to aid repair.

    Now tendonitis does not mean your elbows will crack. I can crack my elbows at will, this is due to doing weights and the tendons, ligaments pulling or moving the elbow joint out of it's normal path.

    This causes me no pain whatsoever.

    If you have acute pain then see a doctor as it could progress.
