    Hey,

    Just on the lookout for anybody lookin to form a blues rock band. I'm an 18 year old guitarist influenced by Rory Gallagher/Taste, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep, Peter Green, Cream, BB King, Freddie King, that kinda stuff. Love to get a 3 or 4 piece blues rock band together in Dublin. Even just to jam with a few covers first before gettin any kinda band together. If you're round the same age, Dublin area and interested, gimme a shout.

    great to hear there are still some blues fan out there!
    Im a die-hard, lunatic SRV fanatic and been lookin for guys to jam with (i'm a bit rusty at the moment, so jams will have to do as opposed to straight out gigs). I'm 25 and when i was your age i played with older guys too (mind you, i suck, coz i'm lazy and practice irregularly, but i like nothing better than a few beers, turn up the blues and attempt to play like SRV - before throwing my guitar of the balcony in desperation ha ha) Send me a note, tell me a bit more about your gear, fave players etc.

    How's it goin. I'm another blues merchant here, unfortunatley a guitarist too. Just saying how good it is to see there are still some dudes out there not being tempted over to the dark side of metal/punk and the like. Nothing against other people's tastes, just that blues is my cup of tea and that's where i'll stay. Rock on.

    Theres an open mic Blues jam in JJ Smyths (12, Aungier Street, Dublin 2 http://www.irishblues.com/location/location.html ) the first tuesday of every month,sure you would meet a few heads there. Im heading down myself for the next one,might even get up and give a few tunes a blast I dunno yet..should be a good night though regardless.

    Love Hendrix ,SRV,John Lee Hooker,Leadbelly,Howling Wolf,to name a few myself,allthough the music I am playing at the moment is a fairly far cry from it.

    Anyways fair play if you manage to throw a decent blues band togther..hell all ya need is too dudes on acoustics with some sexy slide licks and yer laughin.
