Flash oddities and their solutions.

    Anybody who uses flash will know that you can come across inexplicable problems i.e. everything is correct but for no reason the damm SWF will not work correctly.

    And unless you have encountered the problem before it can take a lot of time and checking to find a solution, and that solution can quite often be something very simple and annoying.

    What I would like to do is start a thread where users give “Flash oddities” they have encountered and their solutions.


    example

    Changing Alpha
    Sometimes while I'm fading out a .jpg, for absolutely no reason half of the image shifts over a pixel.

    possible answer
    Set the alpha of the mc where the jpg is in to 99% in stead of 100%
