ok in my college we have these Direct CD wizard things for writing to a CD but we are unable to actually burn the CD cause of copyright etc.

I tried yesterday to write to the CD but when i went to open it in an internet cafe it would find no data cause the drivers in my college are a bit messed up.

SO im stuck with an 87mb DJ set on my PC in college and i need to know is there anyway i could say..put it online or something so that i could download it then in the internet cafe or something or any other ideas would be really appreciated. thanks!

I think this should be in the technology forum .. in answer to your question I would say go down to your nearest computer shop and get a box of 50 or 60 floppy disks :p

If you put the file online(ie upload) and then download it again. You'll be doing triple the work,so thats pointless (plus you'll need webspace)
If the source file was availble on the internet to start, just download it from a net cafe, If not and the only copy is on your college temp, fix the drivers on the college writer, or get a zipdisk

get yourself a zipdisk, it's the only way!

    Stick wth the CD burning.
Get Nero (http://www.nero.com) it's pretty much the standard CD burning tool out there. You should have no problem with copyright issues then - and the drives in your college couldn't be that bad that they don't burn at all.

    Stephen.

If you mean Roxio (or whatever the company was called before that) Direct CD, its perfoming packet writing instead of normal CD Burning. You need to install UDF drivers on other PCs to read the CDs. The moral of this story is that packet writing sucks, avoid it at all costs.

If you mean some other sort of Direct CD, then its safe to ignore this message.

If you're saying what I think you're saying then hostyle ^ here ^ is quite correct from my experience with DirectCD.

If you have the money though you might find it handier to get a USB Pendrive from komplett or summat.

Direct cd is pi$$ if you uninstall it, you have to change you sytem registry settings, hassel.
anyway direct cd is mostly used for cd rw, have you tried a cd r. maybe theres another program on the pc, Or alert your college technical support to get it fixed.
