    Is it just me or to people let their musical tastes dominate almost all aspects of their life. there are people according to what genre of Rock music they apprectiate who insist on dressing and behaving in a certain way. some dont mix with non rockers at all. The mod probably wont approve of this thread but anyhoo. what do u think? I cant even mention the words "drinking, niteclubs, football" on front of some rockers without been looked at with dissaproving frowns.

    does heavy dominate ur lifestyle? 6 votes

    Absolutely, i never mix with non rockers, my dress sense consists of leather jackets,dog collars and black nail varnish.i only date rocker men/women.football and niteclubs are below my level of dignity

    It's been done...

    And what about a "My music taste is MY music taste and it affects my life in MY way" option in the poll or something...

    <wanders off muttering to himself>

    I think other things just happen to coincide with my music tastes.

    Tartan mini-skirt, bit of black lace thong showing at the back, white vest-top thing, pair of New Rocks and fish-net tights.
    nyom, but not neccessary.

    I voted the third option incidentally, since, well, that's how I am.

    ive been all three, although i did used to go to really trendy underground deep house parties and dance like a madman to soulful percussiony stuff in cradle of filth t shirt and leather jacket.... music is music mate, the way you choose to limit your enjoyment of it by restrictng yourself to one kind of it is your business... but i never knew a rocker who looked on drinking in a disapproving way.... :D

    nowadays drum and bass dominates my lifestyle in terms of music, but unlike metal its a very absorptive music, and sucks in outside influences and changes and mutates really quickly whereas rock just doesnt move quickly enough for me anymore....
    but your life should be filled with music, and if you make music you should fill it with your life, but disrespecting ppl on their taste is immature and childish imo... one nation under a groove/power chord shattered by feedback methinks! :D

    I'd agree there, Tyranny.

    I remember I once saw Venetian Snares in an Emperor T-Shirt.
    On that note, you ever heard Ulver's remix of Sworn?

    3rd, most of the people I know would be quite shocked if I told them the stuff I listened too (after the blank stare they give when you mention bands they've never heard of).

    You can't let one thing run your life, otherwise you'll just turn into a narrow minded fool.
