Wasn't sure if this was the right place to post, but it didn't seem to fit anywhere else.

So, here goes... any of you bassists out there got a transcription or a tab for the N.A.? Doesn't have to be the bass part, main melody will do fine.

I think I've got most of it worked out, but I'm sure I'm missing something out of it somewhere.

What is it with this whole thing of playing the N.A. at the end of a gig? I, for one, would far rather not play it all. It really changes the whole mood of the place. One minute you're rocking the place out, and end on a high note, and then the next thing it's into the N.A.! Talk about killing a mood, but it seems to be the done thing. At least it is round this part of the woods.

For a lot of bands it's the only time they get a response out of the crowd :D

We employ a very sneak tactic. Drummer does the roll for the start of the N.A. (Crowd stands up) Guitarist plays a short burst of the start of it, then slides out on a low E. Then I start slapping out a funky jam that we do, joined 4 bars later by the other 2 guys and we just let loose. (Crowd not quite sure what to do, and all sit down again!) :D

Still need that transcription, btw! ;)
