Version 0.38 is released .
Bloody hell i havent even got EOD 12% yet,now im gonna have to the full 327mb installation as there is no patch to bring 0.35 up to 0.38.
TBH its ridiculous not having a patch update.Im on isdn and it will be an overnight download plus part of the following day
Then again it includes new maps
Im gonna wait till the weekend.

Ik now what you mean by more downloading than playing - most of the time its true for BF1942, the updates are HUGE on the mods, and theres so many superb mods still in their early stages that updates are coming out left right a centre. Best way to do it? download the update and night and play it the next day, then next night download a diff one and then plkay that all day, and move thru em til their all done. I got EoD for tonight, and then new DC for tomorrow still to do. And by the look of it Galactic Conquest (think thats what its called, the star wars one), is out pretty damn soon, and I really like the look of that.

Just dl'ed it in work...took about 3/4 minutes. PHOA!!!

Anyway, when i installed it i already have 0.35 installed. Can i just kick the .38 install off and let it overwrite evcerything or do i need to uninstall .35 first (if thats possible)??

I've installed it over an existing 0.35... works fine...
