Is St Peters Hall next to St Peters Church - is that the Big church on the NCR?

I went along tonight, attendance of about 50. They certainly had a message to put across.

Apparently a shortlist of three routes for the Airport Metro are being considered - will try to follow up.

I know that this is and was off the agenda but extracted from the Dublin Corporation Site:

"Very large car transporters and extra large container vehicles, which require 5m clearance will use an alternative route. Huge trucks requiring clearance of up to 5.5 metres could not even be accommodated on most of Ireland's surface roads, .including our new motorways , since 5.5m vastly exceeds the height at which new road bridges, both in Ireland (5.3m) and internationally, are being developed."

Denis Naughton was wrong in Wednesdays Meeting. He was wrong about it affecting inflation and he was wrong about the new motorways being able to accomodate the UK supertrucks.

BTW just for comparison, a double Decker bus is smaller than 5m

Not "wrong" - selective. Vehicle in excess of 4.65m (Port Tunnel), but less than 5m (the legal limit before you become an "oversized vehicle") is what he was talking about, not the 5.0-5.3-5.5 categories.
