LOL. Fair play to yez... But you know, you wouldn't have done it without us taking you down to the wire at Kingspan/Breffni Park. :D

Well fuck it anyway we got Fermanagh/Down in the qualifiers. *shakes head and fist at Ulster teams vs Ulster teams in the qualifiers*

Fair play, didn't I say they would win it.

Gods charity all the fkn dubs support.!!

Can someone tell me why dublin never seem to have to play their matches away from croke park when every other county in the country has at some stage in the campaign play outside their county.

Because no other stadium in the country can cope with the number of probable Dublin fans showing up yop. They have the largest fanbase in Ireland as everyone knows.

I watched the highlights on teevee and Laois looked good. Or were Dublin just bad on the day? And how many wides did the Dubs have - 15?

Porn - fair enough lad but it is the fact that they get continual home advantage, regardless of whether or not that they have the larger support. Not that it made any difference yesterday :D

Of point, but listening to the radio during the match and a player dribbled the ball and Michéal ó Muir comes out with "he dribbles it like a soccer player, maybe Brian Kerr will take a look at him" That man is a legend

Fair play to laois. They beat dublin and Im depressed.

However, Laois may thank their lucky stars for two things.

    1. Dublin couldnt hit the broad side of a barn yesterday, something I hope never to see again.

    2. The worst ref in Ireland is no longer Brian white. This guy was shocking. Ray cosgrove was fouled twice in the box and countless other times out of the box. And his desisions were shocking. Dublin are used to bad ref's and we wont use it as an excuse but Laois should know how lucky they were to have such a ref on their side.

And a final point . Shame on Laois for the constant play acting and diving, I havent seen as much as that since I watched Inter Milan play. For shame.

Ahwudyaever leave the ref alone? It's a typical Dub response to blame the ref when things go wrong. Name me one time that the Dubs lost and they didn't blame the ref? They're trying to deflect the blame from the real source of the problem and that is themselves.

The reason why the Dubs didn't win yesterday was because of their mind set. They went out on to the pitch thinking that they have only 4 more matches to go before the All Ireland final. And the never once though that they would have to work hard for it.

Laois went out yesterday with their minds on the task in hand - they had belief in themselves, they believed that they could win, and win they did.

The problem yesterday was Dublins shooting. They were attrocious, which after the start they made in the first couple of minutes was a bit surprising. Fair play to Laois they deserved the win yesterday, and I think they have the beating of Kildare, who would not have beaten Meath if it hadn't been their third consecutive week playing. If I was a laois fan though I would not be losing the run of myself. I think yesterdays game showed that any of the bigger teams will beat them unless they have a very bad day. Dublin had an awful day, and their shooting was awful, yet they were only two points away. I reckon Laois will win Leinster but will go no further.

Im not blaming the ref, Im blaming dublin. What im saying is Dublin should have never played bad enough for the ref to effect them.

But dublin were terrible so was the ref and Laois took the advantage well. Waylander is right. Laois will go no further than the Leinster c;ship.

Right fair enough laois may not go any further after the leinster final, but we were never to beat dublin - and we did!! The game was won and lost in shooting and the midfield!! Laois won the breaking ball 90% of the time - and the dubs couldnt deal with clancy running at them!! Laois took there chances and dublin didnt!! Fair enough we only won by 2 points but laois had a good few misses aswell!!

As for the reffin!! if anything the dubs should have had a man sent off!! the right full back(i think) elbowed Beano - nearly tearing his head off - and then did it to some1 else in the second half!!!

Idonknow. It's hard to judge things from one match. I thought Laois look good yesterday. The had a great spell in the first half, which, if repeated, could take them a long way in the Championship. And a semi final place isn't far fetched.
We'll have to wait and see.

I think that the crowd actually worked against the dubs yesterday. from a neutral, sort of, point of view I thought it was a fantastic game of football and laois well deserved their win.
All in all, dubs are still in it so it makes feck all difference. They have just as much a chance of winning the All-Ireland as Laois.

I will have to retract my statement about "never playing away from croker"
They are now playin in Clones on Sunday

    Lol,dream on!

Seriously though well done to Laois,i knew they would win.
As Colm Parkinson said at half time Dublin are so overhyped its untrue.
There are two over hyped groups of guys in Ireland Westlife being one and Dublin footbalers being the other.
if it wasnt the Dub players using bullyboy tactics on the pitch or in the tunnel it was their unsportsmanlike supporters behaviour booing at every chance. Then again did anyone expect anything less from certain Dub fans?
It was the same at Leinster final last year when i was at the match.
BTW on the bullyboy issue ,did anyone notice it did not bother Laois one bit.Infact if they wanted the Laois team would have given better than they got.
Glad to see my mate Pauric Clancy get man of the match too ,the Timahoe man was awesome.
I live only yards from Laois on the Kildare side of the border so my heart is with the Lillywhites but i was delighted for Laois.
Kildare and Laois seem very similar to me ,young, superbly fit,and strong with great athleticism all around the pitch.
It will be a great final and TBH i would not like to call it .
Laois im a big fan but "GWAN THE LILLIES"

Well done Laois - it certainly sets up an interesting Leinster Final.

As for Kildare's victory Waylander, I think that saying that it was just because of Meath's recent heavy schedule is unfair. The lillies showed some real skill in the first half when they powered past Meath and they showed the kind of commitment in the closing stages that they have been lacking in recent years.

As a Kildare fan - I'm really looking forward to a fantastic occasion at the Leinster Final. May the best team win!

You are right and I do not mean to belittle Kildares achievekment in getting to the Leinster final after such a poor performance in the league. But I think if Meath had not played the previous weekends they would have finished stronger and probably wion the game. I dont like saying that cause I hate to give Meath any credit. The same applies to the Monoghan v westmeath game, Westmeath just did not have the enrgy. Similarly I think Monoghan will put Meath out this weekend. I think it is a disgrace that Dublin got the week off and Meath have to play for the fourht week in a row. I don't go with this whole conspiracy theory that the GAA go out of their way to aid the Dubs but I would beonterested in knowing the logic behind that decision.

Fair play to Laois the deserved to win because whatever dublin threw at them Laois countered, but if dublin would have been nice enough to put their sooting boots it would have been a different story, what they had something like 20 wides thats S**T for county footballers. But the laois backs did pressure them

Great to see Laois standing up to the Dubs on Sunday, not fazed at all. Well done.
    Pauric Clancy is a legend!!!
I think Laois will win Leinster now, and SHOULD make a semi final appearance.

how many goal chances did the Dubs have that Byron saved?
    I lost count.

twas the sign of a great keeper not bad shooting.
