Ive just read the story on the cnn page, and it sounds very ominous when tv producers start saying things like reinvent and a fresh perspective, which basically is a load of codswallop for were gonna take it fart around wih it and basically **** it up

there doing it with battlestar galactica now this, damn cant they just leave these classic series alone

This could work because:

(a) Its being written by Ken Johnson, the writer of the original, and
(b) They're bringing back the original cast....

Sounds like fun! V with a good budget has great potential. But is 3 hours enough? The original miniseries (10 hours?) had a kind of 'epic' feel to it, with great cliffhangers.
