I just ordered one today from

    http://www.brendantownsend.com/buy-now.htm

seemed to be the best value - he charges an extr £1.00 sterling for delivery to Ireland so it came to £24.99 sterling. He also has a What Satellite TV review on the site. I'll let you know what it's like as soon as I get it.

Guys, could you please let me know your verdict on the Phantom?

Useful reliable and good or just a gimmick?

    thanks

The Phantom PVR was actually made under license by Labgear for Bluedelta. Labgear were bought out so Bluedelta now manufacture the DVD/HDD compatible version (Phantom Plus PVR) themselves under their own badge.
If you search for reviews on the "Bluedelta Phantom Plus PVR" you should be able to see some good independant comments on what it is and how it works.

Just for information purposes the posts i made above were quite some time ago as i guess they would contravene the current rules on advertising.

Eek! Didn't realise this thread was so ancient!

As this thread is so old, I'm going to close it. Don't think there is much to be gained from running the thread that started so long ago.
