    Hi All,

Bit of nostalgia, but has anyone come accross the above game.

It was one of my favourite games many moons ago.

    Did it every get converted?

    Help anyone, thanks Lawdie

Chuckie Egg was released on a number of formats:) My personal favorite being the C64 version. You can pick an emulator and the game image very easily. *Google;)

A brand new emulator has been released for the Beeb this week, it's at:

    http://www.tomseddon.plus.com/beeb/beeb.html

(Strictly speaking this isn't a new emulator but it's the first update in 5 years and a complete re-write)

It isn't allowed to link to sites containing 'roms' here but as LoGiE said, a quick google search will unearth what you are looking for. If you are looking for the BBC version, a search containing the words "Hell" and "Stairway" (although not necessarily in that order) may possibly garner the results you require. :)

PM me and I'll send you a chuckie egg exe that doesn't require the emulators. What a game. I remember it well. Usless trivia: The game never ends as the programmer thought people would be bored with it pretty quick. The ariticle is in a book called Retro Games I think.

    Lovely! :D

Currently it is a bit slow, but it has potential to be the best 'BBC Micro' emulator out there. I hope it's development continues.

Are we talking about Chuckie Egg I or II ? In the sequel I remember had you making an infinite number of eggs... each egg would take several hours and hundreds of screens later. Fairly easy enough once you knew your way around.... :D
