Ground beyond saturation point here with standing water in fields.

The continuing wet weather since the begining of August has made conditions here very difficult.

Heavy rain this afternoon with more predicted tonight ...

A ditch is after collapsing in Macroom on the coolyhane road, the rainfall today has been so heavy.

Just back from work driving the back road from Cork to Bandon and there are already parts flooded. They are passable for now but if this keeps up, they won't be for much longer.

It's absolutely pouring down here
