Where do they get the money from to buy them, is their owner really that loaded?
I’d say a quick report from solocheck for about €3/4 will tell us the company is in the height of debt.
Cant help you out on that one im afraid!
Are you an employee or connected to the company in another way?
No not connected to them in any way
There's a few free sites to get that kind of info
Citi Bus has 3.2m of assets and Last Bus 5.5m of assets as of September 2016, so it's quite possible that they do own the Tourismos up until 2016 - there is no more recent accounts so impossible to tell about the 2017 and 2018 ones.
However the accounts for Last Bus show a bank overdraft and long term loan of approx €3m and total liabilities of approx €5m, a debt to Capital ratio of 90% and a working capital of minus 2m.
Bear in mind these are almost 18 months out of date now though.
The coach on fire at UL last week was dublin coach
there have been previous incidents with this operator of coach fires and has there not been one of a large part of the coach falling on the road
these issues are not speculation.
if such incidents happened to a plane a train or a ferry there would be an investigation by a state body.
will there be a similar investigation of coach related incidents by RSA?
