We are currently hiring for an agency account manager; here are the details: is Ireland’s largest online community, and since 1997, has continuously been one of Ireland’s most popular websites. Each month there are over 17,000 new conversations happening in 1,000 different communities, with 2.4 million unique users visiting monthly, reaching 1/5th of all people who are online in Ireland.

In 2016, turns 18 years old, and with it, will come a relaunch of the website itself, offering a new, responsive platform that will allow for a wide range of different digital offerings for brands and companies looking to target niche communities and get involved in conversations relevant to their business.

To help drive our sales portfolio with our new site, we are looking to hire an Agency Account Manager to our sales team.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role offers a great opportunity for someone with minimum 1 years’ experience in media sales to enhance their career by working with one of Ireland’s leading and longest standing publishers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a number of key agencies in promoting all of digital offerings across all platforms. A strong understanding of how the online industry works, as well as the ability to network and develop relationships with key decision makers is a must. The right candidate will work closely with other members of the team to help with sales strategy, develop new product offerings, and provide feedback they think can help drive sales moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new and existing relationships with key agencies and some direct partners
  • Handling bookings from start to finish, including uploading, monitoring, and reporting
  • Experience in planning and delivering presentations to individuals and groups
  • Understanding of how to develop and pitch proposals based on client briefs
  • Identify market trends and introduce product offerings to cater to shifting client requirements
  • Attending industry events representing the company
  • Hit and exceed sales targets

  • 1 year’s sales experience in working with agencies
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi task on numerous projects
  • Degree in marketing or digital background a plus, but not mandatory
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Analytics
