As an 'avid', I say bring back Brian (no offence, Tony)!

As long as The Collector and Bob Stanley stay on behind the scenes.

I think Tony is the first TOTP presenter to pronounce Depeche Mode correctly.

I'm trying to remember what I was doing back in March 1983 because I have absolutely no memory of those last two songs.

I did buy the Joan Armatrading album that Drop The Pilot was on though ("The Key", since you ask).

That introduction for Joan was a polite way of saying 'She has not had a chart hit since 1976'.

I always thought Joan Armatrading was mentioned in Angel of Harlem, apparently not

Birdland on Fifty-Three
The street sounds like a symphony
We got John Coltrane and a love supreme
Miles and she's got to be an angel.
Lady Day got diamond eyes
She sees the truth behind the lies
(Angel).

I mean, I can see why John Coltrane would make more sense but I'm sticking with Joan. Fine singer.

Epic song, I don't think anyone would have sang it as well as Bonnie.

The power needed to generate that Wind Machine caused a 36 hour blackout in Shepherd's Bush, but it was worth it.
