Lads I found these tracks in the mud by my duck shed...The ducks were locked in for the night..
Are they cat or fox???? there are cats next door..But there is also foxes around..
Im thinking cat as I cant see any sign of claws..
They look like cat to me. Fox tracks usually have a nail at the front of the tow
Edit: just noticed ypu said that under the pics too! Id agree with you
That's what I was thinking too...I have a load of snares in my ditches..Have caught a few and also lost a few ducks..Its 2 for 2 at the moment...Ive snared 2foxes and lost 2 ducks over the last 18 months..
I'd go with cat too. The fox has a 'thinner' print, the two outer toes are more behind the centre two. With the cat the toes are 'side by side'! Dave
Pad and toe orientation looks more like cat too. I'd be going with cat
Are ya doing anything about the cats or are they not causing a problem?
The cats are fine...I don't like em but I like my neighbour so I just throw a few rocks at em when there around...they get the message..
You mean in their direction :-)
Pussy cat.Giveaway is no claw impressions.
No..at them...Usually I don't miss..If I didn't get on with the neighbour they`d get the .22...And end up in the **** tank..
Cats are no addition at all.
cat tracks. fox tracks are more pointed
cat tracks im getting one lying up at a feeder caught it on a trail camera the chancer
Nice to have cats around ducks and chickens. It keeps mice a rats at bay.
Can I ask how do the cats get on with the Birds?.
