I assume that these will be split between Setanta Ireland and the Setanta Sports channel? Does Formula One being shown on Setanta Ireland have an affect on whether or not a game on the same day is moved to Setanta Sports?

Not sure how the Channel coverage is decided

UPC customers get Setanta Ireland for free but not Setanta 1

3 p.m. games can be on either channel......

When do they announce whether it is Setanta 1 or Setanta Ireland...????

These are usually Setanta Ireland, no?

You can't show 3pm games live in the UK.

Could be wrong tho.

They showed some games last year at 3 pm on Setanta 1

I assume they block the channel for UK viewers at this time....

Happens with Europa League games on ESPN.......

Possibly 4 Man United games and no City games!!? I call conspiracy!

Stoke and Wigan even have 3 games!

That's the thing. I have UPC, but don't subscribe to Setanta Sports. Whenever a game I'm interested in is on Setanta Sports 1, I can watch it online on Eircom Sports Hub. Which would be good if their stream wasn't such poor quality. Maybe it's just my computer to blame for that, but it's also about 30 seconds behind other streams, which themselves would be behind the action on the TV.

Last season I was watching United vs Bolton online, and by the time Scholes scored his first goal since coming out of retirement, it being announced and talked about on Gilette Soccer Saturday, and my mam shouting up the stairs to me that Scholes had scored, I was still waiting about 20 seconds for it to happen on the Sports Hub stream.

So Setanta 1 is blocked for UK viewers at 3 pm?

Why you would subscribe to Setanta then...???

Didnt setanta nearly go bust? How can they afford the rights? Near the end of last season the games on setanta ireland were fairly dew and far between iirc.
I also remember they did a liverpool special for march or april? Awful games
