Back by popular demand (again ), is the Album of The Week. The rules are the same as before.

  • One person, one vote per week. You can either quote someone else's nomination or you can post a different album.
  • You can vote for the same album each week if you like but you still only get one vote per week.
  • The new album of the week will be revealed each Monday. If there is a tie in the voting myself and lord lucan will decide the winner.
  • Any albums that were previously voted as albums of the week may not be voted for. The full list is below. Note that this just means the album can't be voted for. If the band in question released more than one album then you can simply vote for a different album by the same band.
  • Any votes from one post wonder accounts won't be counted so no registering new accounts to push up the number of votes for your chosen album.
  • Please only post votes on this thread. Discussions on any of the albums nominated don't belong here.
  • The moderation team reserves the right to discount any vote and their decision is final.

You know, I'm glad this is back and I'll tell you why: Looking through the list of previous winners, it really is a stellar collection of albums. It means anyone looking for something new to listen to, can look at that list, pick out a random album, and chances are it's great.

So can we start suggesting now or is that not till Monday?

I was gonna throw this up the last time this thread was run but there's something down right odd about not having Master of Puppets on the list.

So, Master of Puppets is my nomination.

Woah, this hasn't won yet.

My mistake. It's my favourite album of all time, I think I'll change my vote!

Going to vote for the Crue - Dr Feelgood
A defining album of glam metal, and its worthy of including on any AOTW list.
