Game raising cup side Liverpool fc host upwardly mobile Seagulls who after a sticky spell are back on an upward curve as they look to win promotion to the Premier League having been in League One last season.

Dalglish has taken a pretty cautious approach in Cup ties playing strong starting 11s for the most part, its hard to see that changing today and the manager has made it clear that performances today will influence his picks for the League Cup final next Sunday. Brighton have two games in the next week so might well use the squad to full effect.

I reckon he will play a fairly strong team. I am expecting a tough enough game but over 90mins we should be capable of getting a better result than a draw at home.....hopefully. Any kind of a win will do. A professional 3-0 win would be greatly appreciated. No injuries would be nice too.

Tough game to call. Hopefully Andy Carroll will start and get a goal.
2-1 final score hopefully. Suarez to be the difference today.

4-1, Hat-trick for Andy Carroll and Doni with the other.

The last time we played Brighton at Anfield in the FA Cup 5th round, we lost but went on to win the League Cup!!

I'll take a repeat of the result when we played them earlier in the season, a 2-1 Liverpool win. Brighton are not a bad team at all, and in a bit of good form now.
