My brother and I plan on building a PC in a few months. Can anyone recommend some good, up to date Youtube tut's or other guides online? I know what the components are just don't know how to put them together, so don't need anything on that. It'll likely be a Intel CPU and AMD GPU if that makes a difference.
Just to be on the safe side, best post the specs you're thinking of as well.
As regards youtube videos, after a quick look, this one looks decent. Plenty of clear close-up shots.
+1 on that video. thats what i used when built my one.
Well we're gona wait till after the Major releases by ATI,Intel and nivida are done leading up to the summer, just to see how prices are after that and till we get all the money, so haven't decided on the exact specs yet.
Likely be i5-2500k, Nivida 560ti or ATI6950 or equivalent, large HDD +small SSD.
BTW do they ship laptops to here? And If so what are the costs of delivery on that?
Is it ok to bump?
Looks like a good spec to me.
Cool. The laptop is for me personally I need a new one, we'll still be getting the desktop too don't worry.
EDIT: Bloody hell feel like an idiot didnt mention what site I was on about , it's hardwareversand I'm asking about.
The above three videos are quite good aswell and very thorough. They're three parts of Neweggs 'How to build a computer'
You'll probably find the first link useless as you probably know most of the stuff.
You could certainly buy one from HWVS, but I'd assume the keyboards will be German layout (though I'm not sure. I know all the desktop keyboards they stock are) maybe you could call / email and check? Other than that I don't see why they wouldn't.
That wouldn't be a problem, I'm using a laptop bought from Switzerland atm, I'm pretty sure it's a similar layout. Delivery I hear is about 20 euro right?
