It's actually an anagram of 'Vire', a town in North West France, where the beer was originally brewed.

Got36 bottles of brahma for 22 euro in Mahon point yesterday. It's 3 boxes for 22 with normal price 10 euro per box. Lovely beer IMO.

Picked up 30 x 440ml cans of becks vier there today for e22.

Also saw deals on bavaria cans and bottles but dont remember what they were

Picked up two cases in Tesco artane this afternoon. There was only about 12 more cases that I could see out on the floor. Plenty of miller and carslberg.
