had anyone dealt with the shears that have the motor inside the handpiece.....a friend has a heiniger one and swares by it but its up on 600 euro seen one on done deal for 145 like would it do or is this a case of you get what u pay for !!!
have a lister one think its called shearmaster, class machine use it for crutching the ewes. Think it cost £230gbp around 6 years ago from crowd in the north thats now show supplies or something
That one on donedeal is unbranded as far as I can see. It might be sound, but go with your instinct I think - you get what you pay for in most things.
A good brand like Lister is a friend for life if you mind it, and it will hold a secondhand value to some degree unlike brand X
the one on donedeal is a nelson or nelsor....hard to know but just cant justify the big money for a lister or heiniger one
hey roosky did you get the €145 shears in the end?
have a small number of sheep at the moment but am building up numbers so considering either the shears you mentioned or going for a the lister linked below (€210 + shipping).
If you have got them are they man enough for say 50 sheep in a day?
anybody else with experience with these type of shears?
