With FG saying they'll refuse the bailout if they were in power, would this be possible?

I assume FF have to sign up for this, would there be an option or possibility to get out of it?

The deal is not legally binding so yes we could reject it in theory,
In practice however we really dont have much choice, Its this deal or the bond market and if we go there we go bankrupt.

FG wont be rejecting the deal though they may alter it slightly, thats according to Noonan on Primetime this evening anyway

FG are going to change it EVER so slightly so they can say they changed it , but nothing of any significance. They really really let themselves down today, absolutely no substance whatsoever in their argument, Kenny actually made Cowen look good.

Sorry for the rant, yea we can back out whenever we want, but that means no money.

The conditions of the bailout are a national disgrace but I won't hold your breath to see any of the main opposition parties make any real changes, they haven't a spine amongst them. The only ones making any sort of ruckus over it are SF and the cynic in me says that this is only because they know they will not be in the make up of the next government, still hope they succeed in their bailout challenge though.
It might not even matter anyway, the way things are going in Portugal it looks like the bailout has failed miserably to restore confidence in the Euro and the markets are not buying the nonsense been spun by the politicians.

We living in very interesting times.....
