Anyone know a good one? Just want to rip some live performances etc into mp3 format..
I use Easy-HiQ to record a variety of computer streams and use it on occasion to record YouTube audio.
Cheers mate but it looks like you have to pay for that after the trial?
I was looking for something that's free if possible.
I use FLV Extract, you'll something to download the FLV file off Youtube 1st, I use DownloadHelper addon for Firefox.
There is an online "youtube to mp3" converter called dirpy. Very good.
Make sure to only download material that is not copyrighted
I use dvdvideosoft for it. There is also numerous add-ons you can download for it which do various things
Heres just a sample
# Free YouTube Download 18.104.22.168
# Free YouTube to MP3 Converter 22.214.171.124
# Free YouTube to iPod and PSP Converter 126.96.36.199
# Free YouTube to iPhone Converter 188.8.131.52
# Free YouTube Uploader 184.108.40.206
+1 on this. It works great, it's free and it has a built in tag editor.
what about vixy.net or zamzar.com?
Musicbox for mac is the best imo
vixy doesn't appear to work. But zamzar does work. Dirpy appears to be down atm.
I use dvdvideosoft aswell but i find that the sound quality of these songs is very poor on the ipod, does anyone else find this?
Bearing in mind no youtube audio is anything other than middle-fi at best I use youtubedownloader and covert the audio track from the FLV file
