Ok two more events to announce.

On the same day as the Will Sliney signing in Big Bang (6th Feb), Nick Roche will be signing and sketching in Forbidden planet between 1-3 and in Dublin City Comics between 4-6.

And the first Dublin Comic market of 2013 will be held in the central hotel on Exchequer Street from 10 am this Saturday. Deals like 20 comics for €10 will be back again from what i hear

Hi,

Are these the same kind of events that were helf in Wynns Hotel over the past few years? Also €10 deals like the one mentioned above, would they be recent stuff of mostly back issues?

I cant honestly say as I've never been to the Wynns Hotel one...all i know is this is primarily hosted by Sub city and then who ever buys a table to sell.

Hey all,

Reckon this is the place to put this as I didn't see it mentioned. Lightning Strike in association with Atomic Diner are holding a talk discussing Irish Comic Book production on Thursday (14th of March) in Trinity College.

Guests include Declan Shalvey, Robert Curley, Darrin O'Toole, Robert Carey and Ciarán Marcantonio.

Hi sorry I wont be able to make it, but if you could let me know how you got on it would be great. I only have about 1500 - 2000 comics I want to sell and fear something that far away might not be worth my while especially because I will be relatively small compared to other dealers and shops.
Do you sell comics all the time or just like me letting go of your collection?

I just realized and tried to edit before anyone seen but I failed . kind of thinking it might be easier to sell my collection to a dealer or something anyway.
