Anyone, hear Jim Corr's interview this week on the Matt Cooper show? Sounded like Jims theory about a Single Global Currency last year might actually be coming true ..?
I don't remember hearing anything about a global single currency, but he did mention the new world order and 5 or 6 continental bloc organisations (EU and US being the 2 most developed examples at the moment). Is there a podcast somewhere we can listen to?
Are there signs of a single global currency?
I'm involved in economics, and I haven't heard a single sign of such a currency. There have been suggestions for some kind of global reserve bonds, but this is nothing new and comes from only a few academic economists, most notably Joseph Stiglitz.
Well, I know there was some proposal (from a Canadian economist?) just after the crash started.
I was more asking if there is anything more than some economist(s) making a proposal...iof there are actual nations getting behind such an idea...
Didn't see a link to back the claim up. A US Senator (uninformed one at that) came up with the same claim a while back but she misinterpreted a comment by a Chinese politician for other countries to not place as much importance on the US Dollar for their reserves, totally unrelated to a common currency. As for Jim Corr, I wouldn't let him write a song for me, let alone take his advice on World Events.
I have seen mention of Single Global Currency in some media articles and I think Gorden Brown might have mentioned it in an interview recently .
Just looking at his site there:
At the end of his welcoming statement:
Possibly stemming from here:
Been flying around CT fora and some mainstream sites a lot lately.
I laughed so hard.
Beats the hell out of all those Obama/Jesus pictures.
A 3% tax increase to the levels of 15 years ago is socialism, but it's also facism at the same time. According to the respected journalist on fox called Glen Beck.
Yes, or Namunnists (sounds like a breed of husky dog but it will do). Get e-mailing superior comrade.
Lads, can we please cut down on the amount of crap that gets posted? Please.
