Does anyone know of a freephone (1800) number for Sky Ireland ?
I'm fed up after I was put on hold for 20 mins, cut off and then charged €12 by eircom.
Even a Geographic number which could transfer a caller to customer care.
All sugestions appreciated
Is there anything free about Sky?!?!? Sorry thats no help to you but couldn't resist it!
However, I didn't realise the 0818 number was that expensive for 20 mins...
had the same trouble with Sky as well. Ring them, tell them you want to speak with a Supervisor,be firm and someone will call you back.......
Ring from work!
I was on hold for 20 mins, after being cut off a number of times I was charged the 0818 connection fee and was forced to call AGAIN.
Sadly there is no freephone number for Sky Ireland...you'd be lucky if you get through to an irish call center. Ive been put on hold for an hour only to be told that she (person i was talking to) was not fully trained Why did you answer the phone in the first place you idiot!!!
Im an ASA and was ordering viewing cards
I was charged 8 euro recently for calling Sky
I use SayNoTo0870.com to get a UK geographical number, and call that from Skype (useful if you have UK bundled minutes with a landline/mobile/VoIP provider, as well).
Pritty cool site you found there. Nice one!
Great Idea but unfortunately I don't have Skype ATM (But for those who do heres a guide http://www.saynoto1890.com/how-to-ring-1890-1850-and-0818-numbers-from-mobiles/
There's an Irish version called www.saynoto1890.com
Hi there all
Eircom are the biggest load of gougers on the planet, I know I used to work for them.
My bills were crazy with them €210 every 2 months
I changed to Talk Talk, now my bills are €60 per month..
Now heres the good part. With TALK TALK you get to call the UK for free -
And I too have had serious problems with the DICKS from SKY and being left on hold for years and then getting cut off -
So I went in search of a land line number in the UK (scotland to be exact)
For new and existing customers of all Sky services
I got a Pakistani with a Scottish accent!? double whammy!!!
So anyways, there you go folks. Change over to Talk Talk
Your calls will be cheaper than the eircom shower of planks
and you get to call the UK for free.
How much is a stamp nowadays?
