Just see in the paper today there's a free Mary Black CD in this weekend's Irish Mail on Sunday - looks like it'll be worth a listen - as it has her most famous tracks on it - thought i'd spread the love!
I live in the Clonskeagh area and play piano and keyboards and some vocals. Would love to hook up with others to practice trad songs with a view to playing around town, (boolavogue, fields of A. foggy D.) etc. Any thing from a boughran to uileann pipes would be great! Email me at email@example.com. CJ
The best site for Irish tenor banjo is definitely http://www.theirishtenorbanjo.ning.com.
Hi, please check out www.irishmusicbartour.com for an interactive tour of some well known Dublin pubs, involving traditional Irish music and learning an instrument on the night
An excellent trad festival is the Patrick O' Keefe festival held on the October bank holiday weekend every year. This year, De Dannan, Joe Burke, Jackie Daly and many more well renowned artists will be performing. For more info check out the page http://www.patrickokeeffe.net/
Just to let you know that the inaugural Turkey Fleadh will be taking place in Kinvara, Co. Galway this weekend. For a full list of events, have a look at their facebook page - Turkey Fleadh, Kinvara
Just a heads up.

Wow, I had a list of a dozen or so links to add, but they're all up already. Fantastic!
I'd add Concertina.net for concertinas specifically, although it runs the gamut from Irish all the way to English styles.
Just started learning Mandolin last week - have played fiddle (poorly) in the past and was recommended http://www.norbeck.nu/abc/ for lots of tunes. They're all in ABC format.
I can't get the hang of ABC notation myself as I grew up reading music so use ABCExplorer to convert them to sheet.
mudcat.org can be a great source of information, especially for getting songs lyrics
