Hey folks,

What do ye think are the most disgusting words in English? Most words evoke some sort of feeling or response in you, for example if I say "jump", you might get a different image in your head than if I said "leap". What word makes you cringe when you hear it?

A common one is moist. And one that I just said a few seconds ago and so gave me the idea for the thread... puke.

Both pretty nasty, but I'm sure you wonderful folks have more ideas!

'Afterbirth'.

*Think I am still traumatised from the 'Tom Cruise to eat katie holmes's placenta' thread - seriously anytime I see her on tv I think placenta.

I don't find afterbirth disgusting... the word, anyway! It's in the same boat as if someone said "undead". Evokes the same feelings, anywho.

Dangle-berries is in the lead so far, at least in my books! ew! Fair play Plug.
