With investments over the years, the private wealth has grown, it made QEII one of the richest people in Britain up untill the late 90's when business owners like Sainsbury family, Tata Steel family, Tetra Pak family, Tesco family, etc started to overtake her. I don't have anything against a monarch or royal family. I think the royal family model like the Danes, Swedish, Japan and Butan are good examples of modern royal family ie. The younger british royals inherit milliions from royal relatives. Yes, they are subject to inheritance tax, but the money goes into a fund and is managed by fund managers. So as they dont take the money, they avoid inheritance tax. The royal who owns the fund takes money from the earnings over the years, pay DIRT tax on what profits which they take out, but keeps the inherited sum plus profits in the fund to keep earning for years to come. William and Harry inherited \u00a310m each from Diana (money came from Charles as a divorce settlement, which came from the Queen, and monarchs before her). That 10m went into a trust fund. When the boys were in their 30's their 10m fund was worth close to 30m each.

If Charles was paying rent for Andrews daughters, technically they should be paying gift tax annually, maybe they were. Maybe thats why the rent was 60% market value, so that annual gift tax liability was kept low.

I'm told Lakeland send a separate lorry for milk from fully housed cows, so the milk doesn't mix with conventional milk. Fully housed milk not acceptable for some of their contracts. Not hard to see them, at a minimum, discounting indoor milk in the future.

I've wondered at what point can the govt take a trump like approach and sack judges and only appoint judges that will give proper sentences?

I read the main suspect was already on bail for offences with a knives in Galway.

There is huge inconsistency. I'm aware the DPP can appeal if a sentence is too lenient but even at that it rarely increases by much. In such a scenario, that means the original judge was incompetent so should be replaced. I've never understood why this can't happen?

Pillar or not laws overtime change and this one shouldn't be so black and white. I'd be more concerned by those still in Ukraine defending the homeland. If Ukraine was going to be over run and had no chance I'd not be in favour of sending military aged men back, but Ukraine have every chance.

Anyway I'm gone on a tangent, the original post was about Poland looking to reduce support for men in this category.

I finally closed on a tenant in situ property mid April.

This purchase dragged out nearly a year. It was a couple that were separating that sold the property.

This meant each had their own solicitor. It was a buy to let mortgage so my bank had their own solicitor and I also had mine.

The following has since transpired:

  1. The tenants have been there over 10 years but would have paid a security deposit of \u20ac1900.00 from the outset. This would have been paid to former landlord. However, I understand when the time comes that tenants leave, im on the hook for this.
  2. Other issues, prior landlord was paid full month of April's rent from HAP despite me notifying them of change of ownership. So this amounts to near \u20ac900.00 overpaid to prior landlord.
  3. Property Advert showed a steel shed but tenants say they purchased this and all appliances etc. No inventory list was compiled.

I did have the solicitors details that my solicitor was dealing with and reached out directly. However, she replied that she only represented the female party and that this party did not receive any of the rental payment so cant repay it to me.

I contacted the estate agent and he said he assumed all inventory was included and would reach out to the male party. However, I havw not received any updates so looks like he just ignoring it.

Is my solicitor at fault here for not asking on the above and not noticing the security deposit in tenancy agreement?

I don't have the male party's address to even send a letter threatening legal action.

Is it possible that seller could argue that security deposit was included in sale price despite no mention of it at any point?
