My girlfriend is applying for job seekers allowance and Social Welfare is requesting my bank statements and I'm worried I have too much money in my account I have around €7000 will this affect her application as we are cohabbiting?? And do they have ways of finding What really in my account by say for instance checking with revenue?? Also this is spread out over 3 bank accounts should I give them a copy of all of them as again can they check this

7 - Do not advocate, hint at, mention, talk about or otherwise mention any method of defrauding the Welfare or Health Board.
