Hi

On Thursday evening I noticed two screws have gone from the body of my Canon 50mm f1.4 lens as a result the various parts have come off the body!

I noticed one was gone about a month ago and i replaced it with a screw that I got from an old point and shoot camera It seemed to fit but I now think it wasn't long enough!

does anyone of any ideas where one could get replacement screws?

Hey, can you post a pic of where the screws are missing please and I should be able to help

I may have some spare screws available. Any ideas what size/length? Pics, as ZH mentioned, will help.

I am missing two of the three screws that go above the gold line in the photo

there is also three brass nut things that sit inside lens that the screw goes into
I am missing one of these!

Can I ask is that the screw that's too small, or the one you need more of?

I should have mentioned the length of the screws I need are 3mm long

Just an update on this...

I managed to source some screws online through a UK company
the minimum quantity that they sold was 200
so I am left with 198 screws!!!

If anyone is in a similar situation just sent me a PM and can post some on you.
