Impossible to say without more detail.

Both marques have good and crap cars, before taking into account treatment and maintenance!

All depends on what your looking for in a car.

Do you want a long haul diesel cube on wheels or petrol beast!

let me guess: 2008 Audi R8 or a 2000 BMW 316i

I think I would probably be leaning more towards the Audi but bear in mind motor tax, insurance, servicing and fuel costs may be higher.

An Audi RS4 is much better than a BMW 116i but a BMW E92 M3 is much better than an Audi A4 SLine..........

as above, models description required...

Do you want to know the car that gives the best miles per gallon or smiles per gallon?

...sorry, but there are NO simple Motors questions - why do you think they had to invent this place ??

...around here, we have loads of answers............we're just looking for top-notch questions to match them up with

Oh, and, your question: if you have a penchant for rwd - BMW, for fwd, it's the Audi. Other than that it's which ever one takes your fancy.

For me, the interiors of Audi's are better/nicer. The mechanics and technology are 6-of-one/half-a-dozen of the other..........

C'mon now! don't insult the ultimate driving machine by mentioning it in a thread about Audi's and BMW's.

For what its worth, more skangers tend to drive Audi's these days.
Don't know why, just an observation.
