That's an amusing way to blacken an athlete's name.

For the record, Jenkins admitted to first using steroids in 1975, well before Allan Wells became international class.

It's not an attempt to do anything. It's what Jenkins said.

What do the rolly eyes imply? And if they don't imply anything, why use them?

In fact, what does the post imply [on your part]?

The worst you can say about Wells is that he won a soft 100m medal due to the boycott. However you can only beat the athletes you face and Wells was a worthy Olympic Champion.

Cheap attempts to discredit him will achieve little 32 years later!!

I read Allan Wells ran 10 flat for a 100m in his day!
After watching that video, it showed he had a great attitude and discipline to his training.

Have not watched the video yet (at work) but have always had respect for Wells, reminds me of Hession in ways - he made the most of his talent with hard work.

admittedly the americans werent there but what a lot of people dont know is that silvio leonard who got silver behind Wells went into the games with a pb of 9.98 which was faster than any of the 3 americans ( Harvey Glance Stan Floyd & Mel Lattany ) pbs who were to represent the us in moscow. another point many people don't know is that Wells went on to race the americans immediately following moscow defeating all 3.
