C220 Merc

Going to look at one tomorrow w203 c220 elegence auto 2002. I have never owned a mercedes previously, wondering if anyone here has driven one and what to look out for?. Also the mileage is in kilometres whereas most other models ive seen advertised are in miles?. Pros cons?

thanks

Might be miles in reality, but the seller could be "saying" Km's, so be careful.
CDI's had some issues I believe but not too sure about the petrols.

Not as reliable as the older mercs. Get one that has been regularily serviced and if you are buying one , best buy a really good one.

Mileage can be changed from miles to KM and back from the steering controls, not an issue.

I have a 2001 w203, 2.0 petrol version.

Make sure you get all front suspension parts checked for wear, nice few quid to replace them. Also check for water on top of the brake fluid reservoir, known issue ( water drips from the grill onto the breather on the cap afaik.)

Have mine over 6 years and not 1 days trouble from it, nice comfortable car on long journeys.
