Phone Help!
Dad gave me his old iphone and needs to be unlocked as im on a different company. So far he's contacted Vodafone and we're waiting on a message that will send the 'NAC' number. I was just wondering is there any quicker way to find the NAC number as I'm eager to use it

Not officially no. How long ago did you request the unlock?
Just to note I requested the unlock code for a family member recently. First time through the website it said it went through but it didn't. Had to ask a Vodafone rep on here to do it. You're also meant to get a text when it's processed and again I didn't get a text but just by chance tried it. |

Yes but only after Vodafone had sent the request to Apple to allow the unlock, As Captain Morgan said if is been over a week you might be better contacting the Vodafone Reps in Boards to check it out,
Once unlock is done some people say you will need to do a restore to see the unlock message you can also try to put a Sim from another network and connect to itunes, last option worked for me. |

For all other phones is correct for an Iphone that's wrong , rep probably wasn't very familiar with the process for Iphones,
