Uploading photos to facebook

Hi all
Can someone help me - I am trying to upload photos to facebook, usually this works fine for me but for one particular group of photos it's not working - seems to go through the process ok but all that is there is black photos - no images. Does anyone know why this might be?

Also - A friend of mine put up photos of a trip we had together and I want to download them but when I copy them out the file size is very small and the quality bad - is there any way around this without having to get her to put them on a disc etc? we live in different countries...

Thanks

This is a photography forum, not a facebook forum. No offence intended.

Sorry - I did a search for similar posts to do with uploading photos to various websites etc. and most seemed to be in the photography forum, couldn't find another more relevant forum.
Thought uploading photos was relevant to photography so apologies if there is a better place to post this query.
Maybe one of the mods can move this if there is a more appropriate place?

the upload utility on fb is quite good , no idea why it doesn't work for a certain set - when it uploads it reduces file size, so it is not a good way to move images between people - why not email images ?

hope this helps some

It's just that there's quite a few of them so it would take forever to email, I'll ask her to stick them on a disk.
If she'd chosen the high quality option when uploading would they stay the same quality?
On the upload not working - I don't know either, when I use the basic upload method, photo by photo, it works, but obviously takes ages!
Thanks

Create a Dropbox account and send her the log-in details. That way she can upload the originals to that and you can download them

FaceBook to Photography is like MacDonalds is to Fine Dining.

Sure it's popular, but it's cr@p.

Use of sites mentioned above would be a much better idea.
