Does anyone have any idea when this phone is out in Ireland? I know in the UK it is meant to be out in March. I am due an upgrade on 3 and this does take my fancy but would anyone know if it is out over her in March as well?

highly unlikely..we normally get them 2 months later or never at all..

It has been reported to be released in march but just a few days ago changed to the end of this month. But this may just be in UK. Ive been offered an upgrade from three and asked about this phone but could not give me a date for its release. Looks like a great phone way better than iphone and samsung galaxy 2

Just wondering can you send texts with this phone , on the Sony website it does not have sms listed in its features. Have an experia arc at the moment and I love it.

Hi Chris where did you read that? I t falls exactly the right time for me as my upgrade is due the end of next month hurrah!

I googled it. This is for UK but every site is saying start of march now. Samsung galaxy 3 is out in feb so might have a look at that. Sony xperia has anti stain case and faster charging times 10 mins charging from flat battery gives one hour batrery time

It is available from Amazon.co.uk as pre-order and price looks tempting, what stops from ordering - it got scratch-resistant glass only, would like gorilla glass

Ill get it alot cheaper on upgrading. Didnt no it was glass screen. Is it same type as iphone?

Good luck getting an S3 in February, this won't be out until Q2.

Good news here man I mailed sony Ercisson Ireland on fb and they said the launch date is the 9th of March. Still no confirmation from 3 yet but finally some clarification at last!
